Tees are the cheapest way to test a seller and the easiest place to waste money. The difference between a good and a bad tee is usually the blank: yarn count, weight, shoulder construction and how the neckline recovers.

We compare blanks first, then prints. A heavy blank with a crooked print is worse than a light blank with a clean one.
Blank quality
Ask for fabric weight and a close-up of the neck ribbing. A tubular knit has no side seams; a side-seamed tee drapes differently. Neither is better, but the listing should tell you which you are buying.
Print method
Screen print sits on top, DTG soaks in, puff raises. Each ages differently. Ask which method was used and whether the print has a wash-care note.
